North Carolina

So we made it to North Carolina and its wet and cloudy we will update you all with pictures we both found that moving through Uhaul was the easiest way to get from California to North Carolina

and the cheapest way to protect your stuff from getting damaged is to use clothes and towels as packing material. $600 in gas for our truck, $150 for food, $588 for the Uhaul trailer, came to $1,338 total. We both had saved 4k total for the trip to cover the cost of food, gas, Uhaul trailer and 2 months worth of bills.

Utah and Colorado

So we made it through Utah and are now in Colorado, what is there to do well let see you can stop in Utah a rest stops and take several pictures of the scenery, when you get to Colorado you can go white water rafting and snow boarding and skiing in the winter. If you stop at Colorado springs you can go see the "Garden of the gods " it a place where you can see all different shapes of massive rocks created by mother nature that resemble different things like the kissing camel rock and so on you can also see the pikes peak mountain from the garden of gods.

Moving From California

My wife dog and myself had a huge struggle on Aug, 6th we had a few delays with packing.

stuff was thrown at us and our truck that was not ours. The thing that came to mind was to solve the problem. (my moms boyfriend was the problem) he slowed us down, so It got physical and he got pushed down on the ground from getting in my face, he got up and threw the first swing. I threw a few punches got picked up and thrown to the ground. Being prior military I knew self defense rolled him over put him in a choke hold and punched him several times while being told to stop. cops were called 4 police officers showed up and one ambulance.

why did he start to fight when he knew we were moving? who knows why didn't my mother stop him? who knows we just wanted to leave. It was mutual and no charges were pressed even though I got one good punch to eye which is why you will see in pictures I post that I have a band-aid on my left eye. we finally made it out of California on august 7th, and stopped in boomtown, Reno

Moving From West To East Coast

Aug, 6th

My wife and I will be moving from California to North Carolina.
